FIELD: hygiene.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to the field of dentifrices and methods of using them. Composition of the dentifrice composition according to the invention comprises: glycerol 10–60 % by weight, propylene glycol 0.01–60 % by weight, block copolymer of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide, cms>5 kDa 0.01–15 % by weight, complex cross-linked polyvinylpyrrolidone with 15–25 % hydrogen peroxide 0.275–1.1 % by weight, calcium pyrophosphate 0.01–45 % by weight, tetrasodium pyrophosphate (TSPP) 0.01–5 % by weight. Moreover, the composition contains less than 3 % water. There is also provided a method for bleaching a tooth surface in a human or animal subject, comprising contacting said composition with the tooth surface. Composition is stable for long-term storage.
EFFECT: use of the composition, with a low content of hydrogen peroxide in it, provides effective bleaching and an increase in the gloss of the teeth.
