FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: source comprises a vacuum housing, an electron-irradiated anode which generates a divergent radiation beam, an X-ray exit window, means for optical indication of an X-ray beam, which include an optical radiation source and an optical mirror. The anode is composite and is in the form of a thin film and a radioparent substrate, which is luminescent in the optical range. The anode structure is the exit window of the source, behind which there are coaxially arranged means for collimating and focusing X-ray and optical radiation and means for optical imaging of the X-ray focus.
EFFECT: high accuracy and information value of optical indication of X-ray radiation parameters.
