FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: claimed method can be used in electric jet engines and electric power sources for aerospace craft and carriers. Claimed method consists in forming of combustion products of hydrocarbon, chemical or nuclear fuel flow moving at preset velocity in magnetic field with induction vector perpendicular to combustion products flow velocity vector. Combustion products flow is, then, split in the beam of cations and that of electrons. Note here that the energy of electron beam is transformed in electric power to be used for acceleration of the beam of cations. The latter develops the jet thrust proportional to accelerated energy of accelerated beam.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of supply system, fuel saving, higher efficiency of payload, longer life of spacecraft.
