SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for electron beam surfacing. Surfacing is performed with vertical filler wire supply. At least two electron beam guns are used to obtain at least two simultaneously acting electron beams used to impact on the required area of the filler wire from different sides. Oscillation of at least one electron beam along trajectories with an intersection with the filler wire is performed by creating an alternating electric current of a certain value, shape and frequency in the deflecting system of the corresponding electron beam. The positions of the electron beams relative to the filler wire are determined during surfacing. The oscillation frequency of each required beam is different from the oscillation frequencies of other oscillating beams and is not divisible by the oscillation frequencies of other oscillating beams. For this purpose, a secondary emission signal is measured, the initial secondary emission signal is processed by the method for synchronous detection. For each required electron beam, a value characterising the deviation thereof from the filler wire is obtained, and the electron beam deflection system and/or the filler wire positioning system is controlled maintaining the value determining the deflection of the electron beams from the filler wire at a level corresponding with the required mutual position of the electron beams and the filler wire.
EFFECT: improved uniformity of heat distribution in the welded area and a possibility of stabilising the distribution of the introduced heat between the filler wire and the welded surface during electron-beam surfacing.
