FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to agriculture, namely to a method and system for processing corn biomass. The method involves the use of the device with a housing, a rotor inside the housing, and with a plurality of protrusions extending from the rotor. The method comprises placing the biomass in the fluid, excitation of cavitation in the fluid for partial separation of biomass, directing the biomass and the fluid through the inner part of the housing, rotation of the rotor for additional separation of the biomass, heating the biomass and the fluid, as well as maintaining the acidity of the fluid and the biomass with the pH value of from about 2 to 6. The system comprises a number of devices. Each device has a housing and a rotor in the housing. One of the devices has adjacent protrusions of alternately varying heights, extending from the rotor. Another device has grooves formed in the rotor and on the end wall of the housing. The third device has two rows of protrusions that extend from the rotor, which are located at a distance from each other of not less than about 6 millimetres.

EFFECT: method enables to carry out quality processing of biomass.
