FIELD: personal use articles.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a men's diaper comprising a liquid-permeable upper layer, a lower layer and an absorbent core between the upper layer and the lower layer. The diaper comprises a transverse and a longitudinal direction and is divided with the transverse dividing line into the front region with the front transverse edge and the rear region with the rear transverse edge. The front region has a larger maximum length in the transverse direction than the maximum length of the said rear region in the transverse direction, and the longitudinal length of the said rear region is from 10 to 60% of the longitudinal length of the diaper. The absorbent barrier comprising at least one first superabsorbent material is located respective to the contour of at least the said rear region. The absorbent barrier comprises a first and a second elongated absorbent elements, and the elongated absorbent elements have first ends directed towards the front transverse edge, and the second ends located in the rear region, where the second ends of the elongated absorbent elements are located in an overlapping configuration.

EFFECT: protection against leakage of urine laterally is ensured.
