FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method of producing volumetrically reinforced composite material includes making a reinforcing frame by selecting rods made of carbon fibre, placing the reinforcing frame into a mould, impregnating the reinforcing frame with a thermosetting resin under pressure and then polymerising the resin. The reinforcing frame is three-dimensional and is composed of rods with a diameter of 0.8-0.9 mm. Impregnation with the thermosetting resin is carried out by infusion in three steps: evacuation before feeding binder for 20-30 min, feeding the binder under a vacuum for 30-40 min at a rate of 0.35 l/min and intermediate holding under a vacuum for 20-40 min.
EFFECT: improved physical and mechanical properties of the articles.
