FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: device to control electrochemical potentials to monitor adhesion of a coating by the cathode polarisation method comprises at least two electrochemical cells, connected to a DC source, and at least two groups of elements, each of which includes a measurement unit and a potential control unit, connected in parallel to one DC source. Each electrochemical cell comprises a tested sample with a coating, a comparison electrode and an inert electrode, which are placed in a reservoir from inert material with electrolyte. Elements of each cell may be connected to a DC source with the help of one multicontact slot. The measurement unit comprises two voltmeters, a reference resistance and parallel connected two stabilised converters of AC into DC. The potential control unit comprises at least two rheostats, which have different maximum resistances and are connected in series to the positive pole of the DC source. Besides, measurement units and potential control units may be placed in the casing, and the device may be equipped with a screening circuit.

EFFECT: usage of the device makes it possible to increase accuracy of measurement and electrochemical potential setting, to ensure adjustment of potential in each electrochemical cell and to increase efficiency during testing.
