FIELD: measurement technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to experimental investigations of electrochemical characteristics of metal of ship hull structures and floating technical structures, in particular, to laboratory tests of metal samples in model solutions of sea water. Complex for investigation of electrochemical characteristics ship hull structures and floating technical structures on juvenile surface at cathodic polarization consists of potentiostat-galvanostat IPC-Pro MF; apparatus for creating a juvenile surface of a sample, which enables to evaluate the electrochemical potential of the juvenile metal surface, in the state of the crack top or other local destruction; an electrochemical cell with a model solution of sea water, into which a working electrode, a porous silver chloride comparison electrode and an auxiliary electrode are placed; direct-current source; a voltmeter; computer with installed software IPC2000, automatically recording experimental data.
EFFECT: determination of electrochemical characteristics of metals on juvenile surface at cathodic polarization.
