FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical industry. The method includes first preparing a homogeneous mixture of carbon black powder, water, a binding substance and a dispersant, wherein the ratio of carbon black to water is in the range of 0.1:2.0 to 2:1. The dispersant is a surfactant which includes an amine and a polyether in ratio of 0.1:10 to 10:0.1. The polyether is selected from a group which includes ethylene oxide and/or propylene oxide in ratio of less than 1. Content of said dispersant is in the range of 0.005-0.1% of said liquid. The obtained homogeneous mixture is granulated in a granulator and the moist granules are dried for 20-60 minutes at 150-250°C.
EFFECT: low water and power consumption, high efficiency of the process, improved quality of carbon black granules owing to uniform distribution of water, binding substance and soot in said granules.
