FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to accumulator batteries for an electric tool. A battery for an electric tool includes at least one battery element, a peripheral device made as capable of detection of battery state of at least one battery element, and a microcomputer that maintains connection with the peripheral device. A microcomputer periodically actuates the peripheral device for detection of battery state during time, when the battery is not electrically connected to an electric tool.
EFFECT: provision of the possibility to monitor battery parameters in waiting mode.
