FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: diagnosing method of accumulator battery with liquid electrolyte uses determination of uneven temperature distribution along the accumulator battery surface with further identification of zones having high temperature in regards to the relatively close zone of the body surface and location of the high-temperature zone in regard to structural elements of the accumulator battery. At that unevenness of temperature at the accumulator battery surface is determined against height of an individual section of the accumulator battery, limits are defined for the zone with high temperature at the body surface for this section of the accumulator battery and these zone limits are fixed as level of electrolyte filling in this section of the accumulator battery. The determined limit of zone with high temperature is compared with minimum permitted level of electrolyte. If the determined level of electrolyte is less than the minimum permitted level then low level of electrolyte is diagnosed for this section.
EFFECT: higher diagnostic accuracy.
