FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: mesogrid model WRF is used to simulate the changes in hydro meteorological parameters. For this, meteorological parameters prediction fields resulted from operation of global model of atmosphere and ocean circulation NCEP are used as a background forecast. Initial and boundary conditions are generated. Thereafter, said parameters are refined by the data from meteorological radar and specialised stations. This allows getting the prediction magnitudes of hydro meteorological parameters (flow of incoming Earth-reflected radiation SWDOWN, flow of incoming Earth-emitted radiation GLW, magnitude of turbulent heat flow HFX). The data from specialised meteorological stations arranged along railway line and prediction magnitudes of hydro meteorological parameters, rails temperature is predicted.
EFFECT: higher quality of forecasting.
