FIELD: meteorology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to meteorology and can be used to determine zones of possible icing of aircraft in real time. To do this, in the given monitoring region, several actual values of the total moisture content are first recorded, then the actual value of the vertical temperature profile is recorded by the surface meteorological temperature profiler. In this case, the recording of the actual values of the total moisture content is carried out using a ground-based radiometer of water vapor, which is installed next to the temperature profiler, after which the mathematical processing of the obtained data by plotting a histogram over several values of n total moisture content. If the value of the total moisture content, which corresponds to the maximum value of the histogram, satisfies the inequality Q≥4 kg/m2, domains of possible icing are considered to be regions where inequality -16 °C≤T(h)≥0 °C, where Q – the value of the total moisture content, which corresponds to the maximum value of the histogram; T(h) is the actual value of the temperature profile at the current time at height h.
EFFECT: increased reliability of actual values of possible icing of aircraft with high spatial and temporal resolution in a certain territory.
