FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of removing stable nitrogenous compounds from vacuum gasoil (VGO), which includes: (a) hydrogenation processing of vacuum gasoil; (b) contact of vacuum gasoil, which contains stable nitrogenous compounds, with phosphonium ionic liquid, which is not mixed with VGO; and (c) separation of claimed mixture to obtain discharged stream of gasoil and discharge stream of phosphonium ionic liquid, which does not mix with VGO, which contains stable nitrogenous compounds, and said stable nitrogenous compounds contain at least one compound, selected from the group, which consists of indoles and naphthenic indoles, quinolines and naphthenic quinolines, carbozoles and naphthene carbozoles, acrydines and naphthene acrydines, benzocarbozoles and napthene benzocarbozoles, benzacrydines and naphthene benzacrydines and dibenzocarbozoles and naphthene dibenzocarbozoles, and content of stable nitrogenous compounds in vacuum gasoil is reduced by more than 40 wt %.

EFFECT: improvement of method, which ensures removal of stable nitrogenous compounds from vacuum gasoil before, or after hydropurification.
