FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: method to produce a porous filler of concrete includes crushing of silicon gaize to produce nuclei with fraction size of 5-20 mm, treatment of produced nuclei by 40-50% water suspension of slurry, formed by the mixture of water solution of sodium metasilicate with silicate module of 1.7-2.0 and density of 1.2-1.3 g/cm3 and low-melt montmorillonite clay or bentonite clay, taken at the ratio of 1:10, to form a shell on the nucleus surface, subsequent powdering of moist shell with dust-fibrous wastes of production of heat-resistant basalt fibre and annealing at 800-900°C and during time providing for melt-in of basalt fibres to form a dense glass-ceramic shell. Porous filler of concrete produced by above method.
EFFECT: method increases strength and frost resistance of a porous filler.
