FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method of producing and storing atomic hydrogen includes electrolysis of water using, in an electrolysis cell, a copper anode and a duraluminium alloy cathode which is periodically activated with electric current, exposing the obtained hydrogen to a magnetic field with magnetic induction amplitude in the range of 100 to 120 Gs and passing the atomic hydrogen through nanodispersed carbon containing carbon nanotubes.
EFFECT: invention prolongs the shelf life of atomic hydrogen and improves thermal efficiency and environmental friendliness of production and storage of hydrogen.
