SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of molecular biology. Claimed application of a therapeutically effective quantity of placental stem cells in obtaining a pharmaceutical composition for application in the treatment of an individual, who has a disease, disorder or pathological condition of the lungs, with the therapeutically effective quantity representing the quantity, sufficient to cause a detectable improvement of one or several symptoms of the said disease, disorder or pathological condition; where the said disease, disorder or pathological condition of the lung represents pulmonary sarcoidosis, asthma, bronchitis or acute respiratory distress-syndrome, and the placental stem cells are CD10+, CD34-, CD105+ and CD200+, which is determined by means of flow cytometry.

EFFECT: obtaining the pharmaceutical composition for application in the treatment of an individual, who has a disease, disorder or pathological condition of the lungs.
