FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: claimed process consists in the cartridge case barrel edge is placed in circular groove between two cylindrical concentric surfaces. Cartridge case is displaced along vertical axis to make case barrel edge pass through all circular ledges alternating on opposite surfaces and, now, withdrawn therefrom. Every concentric surface has at least one circular ledge with clearance over with width of case wall depth. ID of circular ledge on inner cylindrical surface D2 complies with the case OD. OD of inner cylindrical surface D3 complies with case ID. Note here that D2 is larger than D3 by the case wall depth.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of case straightening.
