FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a sequence of DNA-aptamer, that binds to the proteolytic subunit of neurotoxin of type A Clostridium botulinum. This sequence of the DNA-aptamer consists of single-stranded DNA of 81 nucleotides in length, selected from the group: APT/LCBONTA N10, representing CATACGTTCGACTGCTACCCTCCACTTTTGACGGCTTCCTCGGGATTATACGGCTA ACCGAGGGTGAGATGTACAGACTAG, or APT/LCBONTA N16, representing CATACGTTCGACTGCTACTCTGCTGGGATGGCCTAGCAGCCGATTATTGG GCTAAGCGGGCGTGTGAGATGTACAGACTAG. This sequence of the DNA-aptamer has high specificity with respect to the proteolytic subunit (light chain) of toxin of type A Clostridium botulinum with affinity constants respectively of 1.2·109 M-1, 1.3·109 M-1.
EFFECT: invention enables to inhibit the proteolytic activity of the light chain BoNT with high efficiency.
