FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine and may be used to detect electrical capacitance of a biosensor chamber. For this purpose they initiate electrochemical reaction of a sample after its introduction into the biosensor chamber, comprising two electrodes arranged in the chamber and connected to a microcontroller. An oscillating signal of preset frequency is applied to the chamber. The first time sampling interval is set. Sampling of the output signal is received from the chamber with the second time interval of sampling, different from the first time interval of sampling. The phase angle is detected between the output signal and the oscillating input signal from the chamber on the basis of the output sampling signal. The electrical capacitance of the chamber is calculated by phase angle. Also the system is proposed for measurement of analyte.

EFFECT: group of inventions provides for detection of sufficiency of analyte filling in an electrochemical biosensor test chamber.
