STANDARD ELECTRODE ERROR TRAP, DETERMINED FROM PREDETERMINED SAMPLING TIME AND PREDETERMINED SAMPLING TIME Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC G01N27/327

Abstract RU 2708096 C2

FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for determination of analyte concentration. Substance of the invention consists in that the analyte measurement system comprises: a test strip comprising: a substrate; plurality of electrodes connected to corresponding electrode connectors with reagent located next to plurality of electrodes, wherein plurality of electrodes comprises: electrodes, measuring physical characteristics; a first working electrode and a second working electrode; and a standard electrode; and analyte measurement device, including: housing; test strip port connector, configured to be connected to corresponding test strip electrodes; and a microprocessor electrically connected to the test strip connector to supply electrical signals or to measure electrical signals from said plurality of electrodes, wherein the microprocessor is configured to: (a) supply a first signal to electrodes measuring physical characteristics to determine a physical characteristic of a fluid sample; (b) supply a second signal between the first working electrode and the standard electrode; (c) to measure the output signal near a given sampling moment from each of the first and second working electrodes; (d) to measure another output signal near a predetermined sampling point from each of the first and second working electrodes; (e) calculate a first differential between an output signal of a first working electrode, measured at a predetermined sampling time, and an output signal of a first working electrode, measured at a predetermined sampling time; (f) calculating a second differential between the output signal of the second working electrode, measured at a predetermined sampling time, and the output signal of the second working electrode, measured at a predetermined sampling time; (g) evaluate whether any of the first differential and second differential exceeds a predetermined threshold value; and (h) if one of the first and second differentials is less than a predetermined threshold value, then reporting an error.

EFFECT: technical result is enabling reduction or elimination of deviations, as well as better control of false triggering.
