FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method for analyte concentration determination in a physiological sample with a biosensor comprises physiological sample application to any of at least two electrodes to initiate a test sequence for analyte content determination; sending the first signal to the sample to infer sample physical characteristic; application of the second signal of the same duration as the first, to the sample, overlapping the test sequence to obtain the first output transition signal, wherein the first transient output signal correlates both with the duration and magnitude of the first signal; retrieval of a specific sampling time during test sequence execution in the first sampling period based on sample physical characteristics; obtaining of the second transient signal from the first transient signal during the second sample acquisition period; Obtaining corresponding values of the second transition signal at selected time intervals during the second sampling time period; and analyte concentration determination based on the corresponding values of the second transition signal in the selected time intervals.
EFFECT: provision of an opportunity to improve measurement accuracy.
