FIELD: measurement.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of glucose measurement. System for measuring glucose concentration contains: biosensor comprising at least two electrodes with an enzyme; and a measuring instrument comprising: temperature measuring device, microcontroller connected to a power source, memory, and plurality of biosensor electrodes. In this case, the microcontroller is programmed with the ability to: measure the ambient temperature near the biosensor; signal at least two electrodes when a sample of fluid with a glucose analyte is located near at least two electrodes; measure the output signal from at least two electrodes during an electrochemical reaction; calculate uncompensated glucose concentration from the output signal; adjust the uncompensated glucose concentration to a final glucose concentration based on the compensation amendment, increase the compensation amendment as a function of the increase in glucose concentration; (a) increase the compensation correction when the ambient temperature near the biosensor decreases from 22 degrees Celsius to 5 degrees Celsius; and (b) maintain improved compensation at zero (0) when the ambient temperature in the vicinity of the biosensor varies from 22 degrees Celsius to 45 degrees Celsius; and with the ability to announce the final value of glucose concentration. Microcontroller is configured to: (a) apply a first signal to a plurality of electrodes to determine the level of hematocrit in a fluid sample; (b) estimate the glucose concentration based on a given point in time during the test sequence; (c) apply a second signal to a plurality of electrodes; and (d) measure the output signals from the plurality of electrodes at the set sampling time during the execution of the test sequence defined by a certain hematocrit level the way to calculate the glucose concentration from the output signals of the plurality of electrodes, the set sampling time is selected from the reference table programmed in the microcontroller, which includes a matrix, in which the measured or estimated glucose concentrations are indicated in the leftmost column of the matrix, and the estimated or measured hematocrit levels are indicated in the topmost row of the matrix, and the set sample times are given in the remaining cells of the matrix to determine the set sample time based on the determined hematocrit level and the estimated glucose concentration. Variant of the system for measuring the concentration of glucose and the blood glucose meter is also disclosed.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides an increase in the accuracy of determination of glucose, taking into account the effect of temperature on the electrochemical reaction.
