SUBSTANCE: ball bearing comprises rings, with grooves made on their races, and balls located between them. The grooves are located along the circle of balls and races contact, have round shape with radius equal to ball radius, and grooves width is b = (0.1-0.4)·dS, where dS is balls diameter.
EFFECT: optimised contact geometry in bearing, reduced load at balls, improved working capacity of the bearing.
