FIELD: radio engineering, communication.

SUBSTANCE: when generating a phase-shift keyed information signal at the transmitting side, amplitude-modulation is further overlaid thereon based on a pre-generated frequency-time matrix corresponding to a transmitted command, and at the receiving side, signal power is estimated at separate sub-frequencies for different elementary symbols of a group signal and reception of the command is determined from weighted sums of said power values. The type of the frequency-time matrix is selected such that the autocorrelation function thereof has a significant peak only for zero-shift, and autocorrelation functions of different matrices do not have significant peaks. Command transmission can be performed at any moment in time, wherein the communication system does not backup part of the frequency-time resource in advance.

EFFECT: enabling transmission of control commands via a feedback channel without backing up the frequency-time resource of the data transmission system for transmitting control commands.
