FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine. An instrument comprises a non-cutting main body, a throat area for bone retention, and a cutting tip. The cutting tip comprises cutting blades each of which is provided with a front cutting edge perpendicular to a long axis, and lateral cutting edges, which form an angle lying within the range from 0° to 10°, with the long axis. Bone receiving gaps connected to the throat are alternated with the cutting blades. The instrument excludes perforation of Schneiderian membrane or injury of dental nerves when performing drilling operations nearby.
EFFECT: structural improvement.
