FIELD: printing industry.
SUBSTANCE: curable solid ink comprises the curable wax, one or more monomers, an optionally colouring substance, a curable amide thickener, a non-curable component, and a photoinitiator. The said non-curable component comprises a derivative of ethoxylated octylphenol obtained by mixing diisocyanate, ethoxylated octylphenol, and linear alcohol. Also a method of inkjet application of an image on the substrate is described.
EFFECT: improved operational characteristics - increased curing and strength of the image, the lower the temperature of the jet ejected and an ultra-low shrinkage during crystallisation, which enables to use them for inkjet printing.
