FIELD: instrumentation.

SUBSTANCE: claimed invention is tended for reconstruction of X-ray dual-energy computer tomography. Proposed invention comprises the steps that follow. (a) Evaluation of energy spectrum and creation of duel-energy search table. (b) Acquisition of data on high energy PH and data on low energy PL of the system of imaging of dual-energy CT with the use of dual-energy CT imaging system detector. (c) Image acquisition in projections R1 and R2 of scaled images r1 and r2 in compliance with obtained data on said high and low energy PH and PL. (d) Reconstruction of scaled image r2 with the use of the first condition of piecewise smoothness limitation, hence, the electron density imaging. (e) Reconstruction of scaled image r1 with the use of the second condition of piecewise smoothness limitation, hence, the equivalent atomic number imaging. In compliance with this invention, the noise in duel-energy image reconstruction can be efficiently suppressed at resolution preservation by efficient application of info presenting the data.
