FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: claimed graphene conductor consists of the central bearing dielectric fibre, a conducting graphene layer applied thereon and an insulating protective layer. The said central bearing dielectric fibre can be composed of the fibres of synthetic chemical fibres, or heat-resistant polyaromatic-based fibres, or natural fibres, or mineral fibres. The claimed method comprises the application of a graphene layer on the surface of the said central dielectric fibre and application of the insulating protective layer thereon. Note here that the said graphene layer is fabricated by the application of a graphene oxide layer on the central bearing dielectric fibre surface to be reduced to graphene, or by the thermal decomposition of carbon-bearing components, or via a gas phase by forcing carbon-bearing gases heated to 600-1200°C over the fibre surface, or by the carbonisation of the fibre surface by the carbon atoms flow.

EFFECT: decreased heat release and conductor weight.
