FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: method of application of antifriction coatings on thrust surfaces of plate arrangements of cargo railcars includes operations of the preliminary application on the surface of a rough layer with the thickness from 0.01 to 3.0 mm by an electro-spark method using electrodes out of medium or high carbon steels, and further application of an antifriction layer. On the prepared rough layer by a heated double nozzle paint sprayer an epoxy composite is applied, it contains two parts of the same weight and volume, the parts are supplied from different nozzles, - epoxy resin and curing, they are mixed during application; the first resin part contains low-viscous resin - diglycidilaniline, and curing accelerators - oxygen acids - in an amount from 1 to 5 weight parts per 100 weight parts of the resin, and the second curing part is a non-toxic liquid adduct, made by the interaction of para-aminobenzilaniline with diglycidyl ether of polyepichlorohydrin at a 10÷15 times surplus of para-aminobenzilaniline stoichiometry. Both parts contain the same volumes of antifriction fillers, from 40 weight parts to 200 weight parts per the resin and curing parts, comprising a mixture of cut carbon fibres with the length from 2 to 30 mm, and molybdenum disulphide in a ratio from 15:85 to 95:5, and additionally solvents in the form of ethyl acetate or butyl acetate in an amount from 3 to 15 weight parts per 100 weight parts of initial resin and curing parts evaporating during application and curing.
EFFECT: increased strength and service life of the antifriction layer, exclusion of projecting irregularities, and reduced friction coefficient.
