FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: laminectomy is performed from a posterior median approach, one level higher and lower than a tethered region. A dura mater is opened longitudinally. The dura mater areas adhered to spinal cord roots are incised along the roots from the level of the root tethered to the dura mater up to the level of the root ingress into root sheaths of the dura mater. That is followed by expansion repair of the dura mater with a heterologous graft, which is fixed on the periphery of the laminectomy defect.

EFFECT: method enables reducing intraoperative injuries that is ensured by incising the dura mater regions adhered to the spinal cord roots, along the roots from the level of the root tethered to the dura mater up to the level of the root ingress into the root sheaths.
