FIELD: sports.

SUBSTANCE: handle (1) of the pole, especially skiing race pole, tracking, skiing or Nordic walking is described. The handle is provided with a fastening mechanism of the loop (15, 16) intended for threading arm, which enables to modify and fix the length of the loop (15, 16), and is located in the recess (8) in the upper part of the handle (1). The differences of the proposed handle are following. The design of the fastening mechanism comprises a latching element (11) with the ability of rotation, mounted on the axis (7), located transversely to the axis (28) of the pole or the pole handle axis, and placed in the recess (8). The recess (8) is constructed in the form of a through channel which is oriented at an acute angle to the axis (28) of the pole, the lower opening (9) of the channel is open outwardly and is in the palm-facing rear area (4) of the handle or over this area, and the upper opening (10) of the channel is open outwardly towards the upper side of the handle (1). The loop (15, 16) for the arm is attached with the first end portion (16") to the latching element (11), passes through the lower opening (9) outwardly towards the arm and is inserted with the second end portion (16') through the lower opening (9) into the recess (8), from which, being in a securely clamped state, it passes between the inner wall (26, 27) and the retaining portion (21) of the latching element (11) located over the axis (7) of rotation, is clamped in non-rigid and/or rigid closing manner and is directed through the upper opening (10) from the handle (1) outwardly. The clamp opens by tilting of the latching element (11) about the axis (7), and the second end portion (16') can be displaced in the handle (1) of the pole downwards.
