SUBSTANCE: invention discloses a method of analysing the reason for link failure, which includes: determining, when link failure occurs, detailed initiation information causing link failure; analysing the reason for link failure according to the detailed initiation information causing the link failure; and forwarding the reason for link failure obtained through analysis to a network side. With embodiments of the present invention, UE can forward detailed reasons in detailed configuration information obtained through analysis to the network side, such that the network side determines the primary reason for link failure according to the reason or according to the reason combined with a measurement result for taking appropriate measures for more accurate network optimisation.
