FIELD: communication networks.

SUBSTANCE: method for communication is implemented in the terminal apparatus and comprises stages wherein measurement results are obtained based at least partially on the configurations of the main network node and the secondary network node, wherein the measurement results are associated with service frequencies configured by the main network node and the secondary network node; in response to a failure associated with the secondary network node connected with the terminal apparatus, a report containing the measurement results and the frequency information associated with the secondary network node is transmitted to the main network node. The frequency information therein comprises the location of the frequency of the synchronisation signal associated with the secondary network node and/or the location of the frequency of the reference signal associated with the secondary network node, wherein the frequency information is used by the main network node to determine the connection between the measurement results and the service frequencies.

EFFECT: reduction in the time for reconfiguration of the terminal apparatus and recovery after a failure associated with a secondary network node.
