SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mobile communication. The terminal, the base station and the method of detection of cause of failure of the radio communication line (RLF) or refusal in handover are described. The method includes the identification of the fact of RLF or refusal in handover, execution of the process of repeated connection establishment or connection establishment to enter the connection mode after collision with RLF or refusal in handover, and transfer of the information report on RLF to BS after entering the connection mode.
EFFECT: ensuring improvement of productivity of the mobile communication system.
