FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to component of catalyst, intended for polymerisation of olefins, and to catalyst, containing said catalyst component. Described is catalyst component, containing product of reaction of at least one titanium-containing compound, at least one hydroxygroup-containing compound, at least one chlorine-containing compound and at least one polybutadiene block-copolymer. Chlorine-containing compound is selected from the group, which includes chlorine-containing organic compound, boron trichloride, trichlorophenylsilane, silicon tetrachloride, phosphorus trichloride, phosphorus pentachloride, methyldichlorophosphate and phosphorus oxychloride. Method for obtaining said catalyst component and its application for homopolymerisation or copolymerisation of olefins is also described.

EFFECT: obtaining catalyst, possessing excellent granule shape, high catalytic activity and good sensitivity with respect to hydrogen.
