FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: worn cut-blade part of the chisel is removed, the compensation element is made of sheet spring plate-spring steel and welded to the recovered chisel. The rear side of the compensation element is reinforced by welding of wear-resistant material along its blade to the width of 30 mm. The wear-resistant material in the form of paste is applied to the rear side of the compensation element with the layer of 1.8-2.2 mm of thickness. The paste comprises 55-60 wt % of the powder based on nickel SNGN type, 30 wt % silica, 3-5 wt % ammonium nitrate and an aqueous solution of PVA glue - the rest. The welding is carried out by an electric arc of direct polarity with the use of a vibrating carbon electrode. The current strength is 50-55 A, the vibration frequency of the electrode is 10-15 Hz.
EFFECT: increase in the hardness and wear-resistance of restored and strengthened chisels of ploughshares under conditions of intensive abrasive wear.
