FIELD: agriculture; engineering industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in restoring the working organs of soil-cultivating machines, mainly chisels of deep loosening. Worn out cutting-blade part of the bit is removed, an overlay plate is made from leaf springs and spring steel and it is welded to the recovered bit. Overlay plate is strengthened by surfacing wear-resistant material over the entire area. As a wear-resistant material, a powder with a content of 55–60 % tungsten carbide with a particle size of 20 mcm is used. Plasma surfacing is used to harden the chisel bit. Current is 180–230 A, the powder supply is 50 g/min.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention is to increase the hardness and wear resistance of the reconstructed and strengthened bits of deep loosening in the conditions of intensive abrasive wear.
