Note here that transmission system runs in the first mode whereat the torque transmitted by the first coupling is fixed or at the second mode whereat the torque exceeds that of the first mode. Said transmission system changes over to the second mode in case the following conditions are observed. Set torque magnitude equals that transmitted in the first mode. Difference in rpm of the first and second axles exceeds the first threshold. Vehicle speed is lower than the first threshold speed.
