The first access node manages the data transfer to the terminal, and the second access node facilitates data transfer to the terminal. The method involves determining whether the quality of at least one of the first connection and the second connection, obtaining data on the quality degradation of at least one of the first connection and the second connection based on the determination stage, and adapting the mobile network based on the received degradation data. Adaptation of the network can be provided with a simple, efficient and fast manner in case one of the first and second connections may degrade or suffer from a failure.
