FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: present invention refers to medicine, namely to easily used silicone hydrogel contact lenses, containing: pre-formed silicone hydrogel contact lenses; and a cross-linked hydrophilic coating on pre-formed silicone hydrogel contact lenses, where the cross-linked hydrophilic coating contains from 5 to 80 wt% of polymer chains obtained from a copolymer which is a polymerisation product of composition containing (1) 0.1 to 30 wt% of one or more reactive vinyl monomers and (2) at least one vinyl chloride monomer containing phosphorylcholine, wherein said one or more reactive vinyl monomers are vinyl monomers having a carboxy group or an amino group, where easily used silicone hydrogel contact lenses have (1) water film destruction time (WFDT) of 5 s or more, (2) oxygen permeability of at least 40 barrels, (3) modulus of elasticity of 1.5 MPa or less and, (4) water content of 18 to 70 wt%, when it is completely hydrated.
EFFECT: present invention enables to obtain silicone hydrogel contact lenses which are characterized by the presence of a wetting and durable coating, wherein the method of producing them is cost-effective and requires less time consumption.
