SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering. The current converting device comprises primary (4) and secondary (11) parts. The primary part (4) is surrounded with a body. The body has the first conductive part (5) and the second conductive part (7). Between both conductive parts (5, 7) of the body there is current-insulating gap (6). Then body crosses the secondary part (11). The current-insulating gap (6) is shunted by overvoltage protection device.
EFFECT: improved operational safety.
