FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medical equipment, namely to a device for piston movement inside a cartridge, to a system comprising the device, as well as to a method for using the device in accordance with the introductory passages of the independent claims. The device for piston movement inside the cartridge having a cartridge body and a piston built-in to move along a long axis of the cartridge body, comprises a first section and a second section. The first section has first connection devices for detachable connection of the cartridge body to the first section so as to provide a fixed connection and/or a frictional connection of the cartridge body and first section in both directions of the long axis of the cartridge body. The first section has first connection devices for detachable connection of the cartridge body to the first section so as to provide a fixed connection and/or a frictional connection of the cartridge body and first section in both directions of the long axis of the cartridge body. The second section is movable with respect to the first one forward and backward between a completely retracted position and a completely projected position along the long axis of the cartridge body to translate the piston forward and backward inside the cartridge body connected to the first section along the long axis of the cartridge body when in use for the intended purpose. Second connection devices are configured so as to enable them to re-shape reversibly for establishing and detaching the fixed connection and/or friction connection with the piston. The second connective devices are automatically re-shaped when the second section moves in the completely retracted position and/or moves from the completely retracted position. The system comprises the above device and cartridge. The cartridge body is specifically adapted for the detachable connection with the first connection devices of the first section of the device so as to provide the fixed connection and/or the frictional connection of the cartridge body and first section in both directions of the long axis of the cartridge body. The piston is specifically adapted for the detachable connection with the second connection devices of the second section so as to provide a fixed connection and/or a frictional connection of the cartridge body and second section in both directions of the long axis of the cartridge body. A method for translating the piston in the cartridge involves: a) providing the above system; b) establishing the detachable connection of the cartridge body by means of the first connection devices and the first section of the device so as to provide the fixed connection and/or the frictional connection of the cartridge body and first section in both directions of the long axis of the cartridge body; c) establishing the detachable connection of the cartridge piston by means of the second connection devices and the second section of the device so as to provide the fixed connection and/or the frictional connection of the piston and second section in both directions of the long axis of the cartridge body; the connection is established by re-shaping the second connection devices; and d) translating the piston inside the cartridge body along the long axis by relative translation between the first section and second section of the device.

EFFECT: automatic transformation of the cartridge piston engagement and second connection devices in the completely retracted position that enables filling the drug cartridge completely by retracting (pulling in) the piston inside the cartridge body with no need for bother further fluid outlet from the cartridge by means of the same device, and forced cartridge release.
