FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in production of manganese containing steel using as alloying oxide manganese containing materials. According to first version - during tapping metal from steel-making unit, to steel teeming ladle filling to 0.2 of its height, it is added aluminium in amount of 1-6 kg/t of steel, and prior to filling ladle at 0.3 of its height - lime in amount of 1-6 kg/t of steel, then adding oxide manganese-containing material in an amount of 1-35 kg/t of steel, aluminium is added into slag fraction composition not more than 60 mm in amount of 1-3 kg/t of steel provide basicity of slag in range of 1.8-6 and thickness of slag of not more than 150 mm. According to second version - during tapping metal from steel-making unit, to steel teeming ladle filling to 0.3 of its height, adding lime in amount of 1-6 kg/t of steel, then adding manganese-containing material and aluminium fractional composition of not more than 60 mm in amount of 1-35 and 2-7 kg/t of steel, respectively. In third version - during tapping metal from steel-making unit, after filling of steel teeming ladle to 0.3 of its height, adding first portion of manganese-containing oxide material in an amount of 5-15 kg/t of steel, adding aluminium fractional composition of not more than 60 mm in amount of 3-8 kg/t of steel, adding second portion of manganese-containing oxide material in an amount of 5-20 kg/t of steel and lime in amount of 3-8 kg/t of steel followed by adding silicon-containing material in amount of up to 20 kg/t of steel.
EFFECT: invention reduces content of non-metallic inclusions in steel and increases degree of extraction of manganese when alloying steel by oxide magnesium-containing materials.
