FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production with out-of-furnace treatment of high-quality steels. Steel melting in steel-making unit, steel tapping into steel-teeming ladle, its out-of-furnace treatment. Lime is used as calcium-containing materials, wherein lime is added in amount of 5–20 kg/t of steel, and alloying with manganese-containing materials is carried out after removal of at least 40.0 wt.% of sulfur in relation to wt.% of sulfur contained in steel when it is tapped from the steel-making unit.
EFFECT: invention allows reducing the number and size of non-metallic inclusions, including sulphide inclusions, and reducing the number of defects in steel.
