SUBSTANCE: invention finds application in water shutoff in a horizontal or inclined sections of trunks wells. Method of isolation of inflow of water in the open horizontal section of the production well involves extraction from wells pumping equipment, the descent of the pipe string in the well, injecting through them waterproofing solution hardening properties, the creation of an impermeable screen range water-revealing formation and subsequent leaching of waterproofing solution from wells by reverse circulation after initial setting waterproofing compound.
