FIELD: chemical industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for preliminary treatment and further transportation or plastification of polymers. Device contains a hopper with installed in it a mixing and/or grinding tool with possibility of rotation around axis. In side wall of hopper there is a hole, through which polymer material is unloaded. Conveyor is provided with a rotary screw in housing. Imaginary extension of longitudinal axis of conveyor runs against transport direction of conveyor past axis of rotation. Longitudinal axis of output side is offset by a distance from longitudinal axis parallel to axis of radial. Ratio L/D of screw ≥ 7. Angle (γ) installation radially end, closest to bottom of mixing and/or grinding tool satisfies ratio γ= k * d + k, where d is diameter of screw in mm, k is coefficient in range of 15-35, k is coefficient in range of 0.08-0.2.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of processing materials.
