FIELD: machine tool building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine tool building and may be used, for example, in the scope of gear-making machines. Machine comprises a base and a column moveable relative to the base by the combined guide device arranged in longitudinal direction (X). Guide device comprises a parallel arrangement of at least one side of the base and spaced apart in the transverse direction (Y), perpendicular to the longitudinal direction (X), the sliding guide with the bearing surface on the bottom and in contact with it the support area on the column, and a rolling guide disposed on the base, meshing with it a return portion located on the column. Moreover, the rolling guide is located in the transverse direction (Y) closer to the base lateral side than the sliding guide.
EFFECT: invention provides for improved reliability of machine design.
