FIELD: cooling; automotive.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a thermostat (1) for cooling system in a vehicle, comprising: an inlet channel (3) for receiving cooling fluid that circulates through internal combustion engine of a vehicle, inlet (17) for receiving cooling fluid from control line in cooling system, first and second outlet channels (5a, 5b) and axially travelling valve rod (11), which is secured to valve housing (10). Temperature-dependent actuating element (14) is arranged as to influence position of valve rod depending on temperature of cooling fluid fed through inlet (17) and inlet is connected with second outlet channel (5b) via connecting channel (18) extended axially through valve rod. Invention also applies to a cooling system equipped with this thermostatic device.
EFFECT: invention controls thermostatic control device according to temperature of cooling fluid.
